We offer a wide range of benefits to people from age 4 and up whether it is developing focus for a young child, building up self-confidence for a teen or lose weight and relieve stress for an adult.
Our program emphasizes on building up good character, self-discipline and confidence. Structure of respect is built into martial arts instruction.

OUR BEGINNING
CMAC was established on April of 1994. Ever since then, the school has grown and moved to a bigger location. CMAC has been active with the community such as participating annually at St. Patrick's Day Parade, doing demonstrations at P.S. 180, Beach Channel High School and the Night Out Against Crime at the Beach Club.
Meet the Instructors
- Master Lando Cadawan
Master Lando Cadawan has over 30 years experience and has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years. A 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo which he studied under Grandmaster Pong Ki Kim. Master Cadawan is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Arnis (Doce Pares Multistyle System), under Grandmaster Dong Cuesta and Grandmaster Dionisio Canete. He is also a disciple of White Crane Kung Fu under SiFu Fai Chin of Pak Hok White Crane Kung Fu. As a teacher, he is a certified instructor by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) and by the World Eskrima/Kali Arnis Federation (WEKAF).
- Christopher Baez
Christopher Baez is a 2nd Dan Black Belt. He is an Assistant Intructor at the Cadawan's Martial Arts School and has been teaching in our school for more than 10 years.
- Alyssa Santiago
Alyssa Santiago is a 1st Degree Black Belt. She is our Junior Instructor and has been with CMAC for 6 years.
Styles of Martial Arts
- TAEKWONDO
Taekwondo was originated in Korea for more than 2000 years ago. It is the art and philosophy of kicking and punching. It combines sharp, strong focus execution with graceful free-flowing movements to produce a harmonious blend of beauty and power. - HAPKIDO
Hapkido is also a Korean martial arts, and is concerned primarily with actual self-defense situations. It redirect an opponent's strength (momentum) and utilizes it against himself. Hapkido involves joint locks manipulation, pressure point, sweeps, throws, kick and punch.
- ARNIS
Arnis is a Philippine martial arts that utilizes empty hand, one or two sticks, a knife or a dagger. The DOCE PARES is the specific style of Arnis that we teach. - KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is geared towards adults who like to challenge themselves without doing forms or fancy kick and movements all the while learning practical punching, kicking and self-defense. - JUJITSU
Jujitsu in the Cadawan's Martial Arts Center is taught by Stewart Carroll - YOGA
Yoga in the Cadawan's Martial Arts school is taught by Sanjay Kumar

4:30 to 5:15 PM every Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 7 to 12 years old
5:30 to 6:15 PM every Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - Open Mat (Self Workout or Extra Help)
Evenings of Tuesdays and Thursdays - Teens and Adults
6:30 to 7:15 PM every Mondays and Wednesdays - Teens and Adults
11:00 to 12:00 PM every Saturdays; and 11:15 to 12:00 PM Sundays - Teens and Adults (Weapon)
5:15 to 6:15 PM every Fridays - Kickboxing
7:30 to 8:30 PM every Mondays, Wednesdays - Kickboxing
